All pads have been replaced. This instrument came to me in really poor shape and full of corrosion. This instrument dates back to the 1960-1970 period of production when instruments produced in USA were top quality and sought after since Made China have flooded music world. Competing model's of this instrument are appraised at $1,800-$2,200. The top joint is fascinating. Springs restored, silencer corks and levelers all replaced adjusted. It has taken me a good amount of time to complete but presently is in optimal playing condition.

The bottom joint is sharp contrast purely RESONITE since it less susceptible to cracking. The inner bore is actually METAL while the outer RESONITE. The Serial # D6581. With routine maintenance and care this instrument will outlast any moderately priced clarinet of 2025.

Top joint cork has been also replaced and adjusted for its original barrel. A play test video is available if interested upon request. Serious buyers only please. Comes with hard shell SELMER CASE, SWAB, CORK GREASE AND MOUTHPIECE.

The thumb rest has been altered for positioning and overall adjustments have made to ensure play ability at any level. The resonate warms the sound while inner bore makes it project with good.
