Greetings- I am looking to give this beautiful antique Linton english horn a second life. This instrument is sold as. It was stored in a clean, dry place, its case. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Please refer to photos. I am not a double reed expert although clarinet player, so have working knowledge of reeds wood winds. It is a 1959 school-issue NYC board of education horn solid wood, amazing condition no dings or major scratches as many instrumental teachers know, most these old instruments were made high quality, nearly indestructible components unlike the school today plastic parts, etc.

My above notes are opinion upon close inspection. Will close and latch. Needs right lock reattached.

Number on joints reads not sure if this is the model or serial. Upon inspection, here is what I can tell needs repair: all small affordable jobs - missing staple upper metal piece that connects reed to joint new pads, some screws adjusted keys work and move. This instrument looks like it came out of a time capsule.

Given its age, this horn is in excellent condition.
