Details:

The keys and mechanism are still very shiny with no plating wear but do show use. The overhaul was performed by a well-known Calif.

No APO FPO or us possessions. The mechanism is tight and functions perfectly.

All tenon and key corks were replaced new cork pads installed. There are no cracks or chips anywhere including between the upper trill key holes. The original case is excellent condition also.

There are no smells. This oboe should be treated as a new and will need to go through breaking-in process by playing for no more than 10 minutes per day the first few weeks, or month, avoid cracking.

King Marigaux oboe in excellent condition with a very nice tone and excellent, stable intonation. Full conservatory system including left f, resonance low BB, 3rd octave key.

Very nice, polished wood. This oboe has not cracked for 50 years and any cracks apparent upon return means that it was warmed sufficiently before playing or subjected to extremes in temperature.
