A scarce and well-made metal clarinet. We estimate that it was made in 1939 although accurate records are scarce. It features a chrome plated body and bright silver-plated keys. Its original case is serviceable.

We were impressed at how well this scarce metal clarinet plays. The mechanism is tight. The Boosey Hawkes are a fine old British instrument maker firm. Please see the photographs.
