Details:

The instrument has all but one cork pad on the upper joint with standard pads lower. It has a very centered and even tone throughout the range. Note: This instrument has been modified to help the tendinitis in my right thumb/forearm. They are in good shape and seal well.

The throat Bb is very clear as and with the 3/3/C key resonant fingerings, indistinguishable from timber of rest scale. Other than a few small blemishes, the nickel plating is in excellent condition. All keys are quiet with the exception of a slight on RH F/C key. Those looking at this offering are probably aware of the excellent reputation these model's.

The usual intonation problems on clarinets are not very bad this horn. All tenon corks are excellent. It has not been used a significant amount. If you don't have tendinitis, but play a lot, it will keep from getting.

This instrument was made in approximately 1997 with nickel keys and 66mm, standard barrel. Between the RH 1st and 2nd finger. The case is in excellent shape and the new type now offered by Buffet when purchasing a horn. Please look at the photos carefully and listen to video.

The bridge key also has a small spot that was filled down to make connection smoother. This greatly helps take the tension off thumb. To help eliminate this pain, the thumb rest on instrument has been move slightly ahead of RH 1st finger and a loop to accommodate neck strap hook. The holes have been filed, but can be re-drilled should you wish to return the rest standard position.
