The wood is very nice and shows no obvious signs of nicks, cracks, chips, or blemishes. This one is in excellent condition. Includes original case.

Pads and action are excellent. Both joints are stamped with the same serial number which indicates year of manufacture to be approximately 1957, during Buffet golden era. Includes original leather case with locking key.

Happy buying. Cleaning swab reed case. Other than the exquisite quality of wood and outstanding craftsmanship, these clarinets are highly coveted by players because their fantastic intonation tone.

Buffet makes the best clarinets in world, bar none, and r-13 has been their flagship model for decades. Nothing comes close to the depth of sound and play ability that an r-13 offers.

Buffet mouthpiece, cork grease. There is no noticeable wear on the keys from playing over years. Only the top of line model's, such as prestige, Tosca and divine currently offer similar quality wood.
