This clarinet is the real deal, and will play with the other instruments in the band with the correct intonation. I adjusted regulated everything so it looks and plays great. It also has a great little case.
The pads, corks and springs are all in very good condition. The case is unique, with dove tailed edges and cloth covering.
Some of the cloth is missing, but it's light and easy to carry around, with sturdy latches, hinges, and handle, and no bad odors. I just gave it a complete play condition repair and a play test. This is a great American made Artley Model 17b flat soprano clarinet.
You know the old adage that you get what you pay for. Comes with a mouthpiece, metal mouthpiece cap, ligature, and cleaning swab.
