The crack is only in ivory not wood And has been glued so completely stable. The oboe is in excellent condition, except for decorative ivory band on middle joint which has a cosmetic crack that does not affect of instrument.

This instrument is from an avid collector of historical instruments who passed away. The oboe plays beautifully, pitched at a hertz , within excellent tone quality. The oboe seems to not have been played very much stall, And is in pristine physical playing condition.
