This model is above the regular e 13 clarinet the construction quality is equal to or as close as you can get to the r 13 model's. New case by kaces. All new corks installed on tenon joints and all bumper corks installed throughout the entire horn. Most of today's modern clarinets are built on the same acoustical platform as golden era Buffet clarinets.
Undercut tone holes makes this a very responsive clarinet throughout the entire range. A very light weight and durable, comes with should strap, and back pack straps. Both the r 13 emaster model me 13 were made from year aged grenadilla wood.
All new premium cork pads installed on upper joint except for new bladder pads on a key. The backun barrel improves response, improves intonation, and enhances the tonal quality of the clarinet. Typical bladder pads slightly dampen the sound due to the felt pad construction.
Primarily the r 13 had silver plated keys, with option of nickel silver keys, while master model me 13 only had deep forged nickel silver keys.
