Cabart is the stamp of well made student oboes and English horns with close tolerances, key fitting, and cork pads throughout the instruments. It is currently not playable due to some missing and leaky pads.
It does not have a case. I was quoted one thousand to have it repaired to pristine condition. It had a crack previously, but has been expertly repaired see last photo. Because of their high standard of manufacture combined with precise and stable tuning, Cabart is, very often, the most promising student choice.
This is a beautiful wood oboe. Cabart founded in 1893, Cabart became part of the de Gordon company in it's definitely worth repairing.
