I have been repairing oboes since 1978 full time 2009. I have been selling restored oboes on for over 20 years. I have worked on almost every brand of oboe there is from the student bundy to top line Lorre and lubing oboes. My name is skip hoot owner of hotties I am an oboist and have been playing since Selmer 101 oboe conservatory with left f just finished a restoration this fine it now has new bladder pads, the instrument was completely disassembled restored wood oil treated custom bore oil, all keys were cleaned.

Repaired crack in top joint vacuum and pressure tested it still sings I play made intonation adjustments now plays excellent with a very nice slightly dark tone even is ready to sing for its next owner this oboe has never cracked. I restored wood wind instruments specializing in oboe repair and English horn restoration.
