Details:

Plays beautifully from top to bottom this instrument has been freshly refurbished: keys were polished, wood body was cleaned and oiled it given all new Rio white leather pads with the exception of a Valentino cork pad on register key. The keys are nickel plated and nice shiny with no plating wear.

At the time this horn was manufactured, in mid-1970's, model directly below r13 Buffet line-up. Free priority shipping. They have the same body bore design and almost identical keyword. Manufactured in 1975 at the main Buffet factory Paris france, right alongside r13.

The serial number is K34882, stamped on both upper and lower joints. Fully adjusted and ready to play. The only real difference between two model's was in amount of hand finishing, and e13 furnished with a less expensive case. It is very hard to find these golden era Buffet clarinets in such good condition as this one.

Many of these evette schaeffer k series instruments sound just as beautiful the model r13, this one included. A comparable new Buffet e13 clarinet would cost you to it is really nice sounding instrument, and in excellent condition. It makes good sense to consider purchasing a gently used, refurbished vintage instrument such as this one.

And includes a brand new hite premiere mouthpiece, nice Rover ligature cap, tube of cork grease, cleaning swab. Tone holes and tenons are still nice sharp, which indicates that the instrument has not seen much use. This instrument comes in a brand new protec slimline pro PAC case 65 value. I have played this instrument in chamber music ensembles and no one could tell the difference sound between horn my vintage r13.

These older Buffets are made of very well aged, tight grained grenadilla wood like you just do not find any more. These instruments are simply awesome clarinets with a lovely tone, and very well made.
