Details:

This model 40 is a very nice example of a french made Noblet clarinet. The case is in good condition, showing normal wear. The instrument was just serviced taken apart and cleaned, all new Valentino pads were installed, it was lubricated and the keys aligned when it was re assembled. This clarinet comes with a vandoren m13 lyre mouthpiece that really makes this baby sing.

I feel i've done my best to ensure that this one fits that. The key plating is excellent and the corks and springs are in good condition.

Over the years i've refurbished more than 1000 of these bb clarinets, many of which have been sold here on. This one is in great shape.

After testing this clarinet, i've found that it does everything well it plays easily from top to bottom and has a beautifully resonant sound. The serial number is d49069.

I've found that often it's the small adjustments that make a big difference in how enjoyable and instrument is to play. There is a small chip in the tenon of the largest section which can be seen in the third photo. The body of the clarinet has very few minor scratches from normal use mostly scuffing on the bottom of the bell when it was rested on the floor between songs.

This cosmetic issue has no effect on the function of this clarinet and in fact you can't see it when the bell is on.
