Composite body Granada wood and nylon resin with silver plated pointed keys and french steel springs. All french cork pads on upper joint.
It also came with a small screwdriver. I am the real McCoy and so is my merchandise. I opened the box, looked at this lovely thing, closed the lid, and that's it.
This is not a basic oboe. And I don't mean msrp, I mean as in the others available on are if you hear one referred to as full conservatory fingering, this is it. This comes with numerous extras such as a medium reed that would have cost you 15 and is never usually included, four books Burbank elementary, intermediate, and advanced vol 1, also oboe art and method which would have been about 40 more, and a silk swab for cleaning.
It is 100 positive. New oboe, however no longer have the original cardboard box or sales receipt so I can't return it. This is a oboe and it's brand new.
Yes it has a forked f resonance key. The msrp is right hand ring finger c lever and left hand. Yes it has the low BB with resonance key. And it comes in a french case with a nylon zippered cover gig bag to protect it.
Nothing wrong with it whatsoever but the reason I bought it no longer applies.
There is an indent for cork grease but none came with the instrument. And only after I tossed the sales receipt and cardboard box. Just so you know.
Except to enclose the reed and swab which are yours for being my customer.
