These old ebonite instruments are a great value, they sound as good wood but have zero of the downsides owning instrument. Has a great sound. This instrument is in pretty good shape for its age. The original case is in decent shape, latches are good and snug, handles tact, there a small amount of otter covering lifting off missing but its solid.
Heres a nice example of 1930 Conn 324N bb ebonite clarinet. The mouthpiece is a nice old hard rubber one that plays well with instrument, it was handpicked by myself out of box other MC's, this good. I had to make a minor tweak the bridge bb but other than that it plays great up and down. All sections are original and matching except for the mouthpiece.
