Details:

The instrument shows some plating wear commensurate with its age. It is difficult to see, but a closeup shot has been provided above. This Buffet bb soprano clarinet with nickel plated keys, was my primary instrument until this past fall when I acquired a new r13. I have performed many recitals and concerts on this instrument and won my current position with it.

The resistance is even throughout the registers. Happy buying. The instrument was cleaned thoroughly and adjusted and two tenons were re corked.

It has an adjustable thumb rest commonly found on prestige instruments. The instrument has been fitted with a combination of cork, Valentino masters, and cortex pads. It was just serviced by Vince Minnelli, formerly of expert wood wind service.

It comes in a lightly used protect single clarinet case as seen in the photos with a shoulder strap. It dates from 1995 and has a warm, clear, mellow tone quality. Free shipping for the luck winner. There is one hairline crack, but it has been expertly repaired with two pins and a tone hole insert.

This would be a fine instrument for an advancing clarinetist without the financial resources for a new r13.
