All keys were removed cleaned and polished. A joy to play. No reeds a little about me my name is skip hoot I have been fixing and restoring oboes for over 20 years.

And a thin sweet tone plays free very little resistance. This oboe has very nice intonation at a low c trill key banana all keys been serviced, I have play tested and made adjustments. I am an oboe player now playing with 3 concert bands and 2 orchestras.

Low BB, b to c trill first octave key second closes the semi-automatic system right and lefts split ring. The body is made entirely of Grenadian wood. It comes in a good Conn oboe case.

I work on mostly oboes and English horns. I am a trained wood wind instrument technician. Restored to good playing condition.

All wood has been treated with my bore oil treatment. The bore looks excellent no scratches or water lines. From antique to brand new. I have worked on almost every brand of oboe there is.
